Umsizi funded emerging Mauritanian filmmaker, Mohamed Echkouna, to develop his first short narrative feature called Trail of Hope. Purpose was to develop his skills and train the local team he hires. African Leadership Academy Graduate and Savannah College of Art and Design student (graduates June 2016).
